Hello, and thank you for visiting our fundraising page!  

Edwin and I have been very blessed. After meeting at a community college class, we joined forces in life and have been able to support each other through obtaining our Bachelor's degrees and now our Masters. This is a celebratory time for us, as Edwin is 2 months away from graduating with his MSW from UC Berkeley! We couldn't have done this without the support of others, including family and friends, and scholarship programs that believed in us. It's in that spirit that we are asking for your support today.

We are raising funds for the Mission Promise Neighborhood (MPN) Scholarship Fund for graduating seniors at John O'Connell High School located in San Francisco's Mission District.  The Mission Promise Neighborhood is a citywide community initiative that seeks to ensure children and youth succeed in school through a cradle-to-college-to-career approach of academic enrichment services, family empowerment, and improved systems.  Adriana is proud to call this place home - as she works for MPN and MEDA. Started in the Spring 2016, the MPN Scholarship Fund celebrates four-year, college-bound students who demonstrate financial need, community involvement, and academic achievement with scholarships between $1,500 to $5,000.
