$2,000 goal

As you probably know, our twins were born early, at 28 weeks gestation! Carson spent 58 days in the Overlake NICU and Ty spent 108 days at Overlake and Seattle Children's NICU.  As the boys have grown, we have benefitted greatly from the services Kindering provides! From Co-op to Preschool, Physical Therapy early intervention in the home to speech therapy. Thanks to Kindering's supportive programs, the boys no longer have individualized education plans- they caught up to their peers in almost all areas. We have continued to use Kindering's services with their Kids Clinic. The services they provide have been an amazing blessing to our family and SO MANY MORE in this area! This is why we support Kindering and ask for you to consider making a donation.

Many thanks!
Kate, Scott, Ty, Carson and Landon

Why

Kindering supports children with developmental disabilities, delays and risk factors throughout the Puget Sound area. They help children reach their developmental milestones, while also supporting the entire family on the unexpected journey of raising a child with special needs. Kindering provides support, therapies, and education, regardless of a family’s ability to pay for services. The goal of every Kindering program and service is to help children of all abilities reach their fullest potential. Kindering's vision is that all children will be fully and equitably included in their homes, schools and communities.

Early treatment of developmental difficulties makes a life-changing difference. The research is clear. As 85% of brain development occurs from birth to three, this is the most important window for providing infants and toddlers with special needs the best chance for success.

Kindering's annual Salute to Courage Benefit is crucial to raising the funds needed to continue their important work. Your support is needed more than ever. Join my team to help Kindering reach their goal of $150,000! Make a donation or start a fundraising page as a member of my team and share it with your network!
