Matching Families Like Never Before

Family-Match, a program of Adoption-Share, began with the goal of matching youth in foster care to their forever families by leveraging data science and relational fit scoring through a state-wide centralized platform for recruitment, matching, and retention. To-date, Family-Match has created more than 400 matches in two years. As the source of Virginia's solutions and innovation in foster care and adoption, Family-Match works to convene families and caseworkers looking to create forever families through foster care adoption to -- make the match happen!
COVID-19 demands eliminated support for many programs making or supporting families by adoption, including allocated program funds to support the expansion of tools and participants of Family-Match in Virginia at more than 125 adoption and Department of Social Services agencies. Despite this recent news, Family-Match has not stopped its commitment to Virginia's youth in foster care looking for their forever family.
COVID-19 did not stop the dream of becoming a family through adoption. Family-Match is asking for your support to make these dreams come true through our data science and relational fit research and programs.
