To raise funds to donate spay/neutercertificates to those pet owners laid off due to COVID-19.

$3,000 goal

Kitten and puppy season had just begun when COVID-19 hit our country and millions of people were furloughed. Those intending to spay or neuter their pets have had to put this off due to budgetary reasons and the cessation of spay/neuter by many veterinary clinics. Suddenly, altering your pet is not a priority due to monetary concerns, but it is still vital that it be done as soon as safely possible.  The natural instincts of unaltered cats and dogs are not going to sit idle, and the perfect storm of breeding season and COVID-19 will result in many unplanned litters. SpayGeorgia wants to help furloughed pet owners by being able to donate spay/neuter certificates for their pets. We need to help those pets who needed to be altered as the pandemic hit, and all of the puppies and kittens that will result from clinics not doing this surgery at this time. The world's focus has been on saving human lives and we have all worked together to hopefully start returning to normal life. Your donations will go directly to the spaying and neutering of the pets of furloughed workers. Please consider a donation to help SpayGeorgia reach our goal of $3,000.00.
