We are on track!
Want to make a positive, real change in the world? Help me support the building of rainwater catchment systems in rural Northern Ghana. I am currently working towards a $600 goal that will help cover the cost of a rainwater catchment system in our partnered Ghanaian communities.
The communities we work with are without a clean, sustainable source of water. This leads to a whole host of health issues for the community, especially women and children who must walk many miles to the nearest water source. This creates a cascading amount of issues, such as health risks of women walking with heavy loads, children out of school for long hours, and bacterial diseases due to the open water sources. I care deeply about this problem because I study these types of issues in my International Affairs courses.
I believe that access to a clean, reliable source of water is at minimal a basic human right that should be provided to all people. Your donation, whether it be as small as $5 or as large as $500 will help immensely in providing this clean water source to these partnered communities. Thank you so much for your support!
