Chicano Federation programs and services address San Diego's most critical needs by offering subsidized care for infants and toddlers, early childhood education at a preschool in Barrio Logan, healthy meals for over 7,500 children each month, 300 units of affordable housing at nine apartment buildings in  Barrio Logan, City Heights, and South Park neighborhoods of San Diego, and a workforce development program that has helped hundreds of women start family child care homes across San Diego County. Now, in our 54th year, Chicano Federation is the lead advocate for health equity and ensuring that the well-being of our most impacted communities is a priority in San Diego County.

With your donation, you will support the continued development of Chicano Federation's programs, services and resources. The Federation's goal is to address the numerous and different needs that our community members have. The families and individuals who reach out to Chicano Federation for support have needs beyond what one program can offer. Thus, the organization strives to get to know and understand individuals and families in a meaningful and holistic manner in order to be responsive to all of their needs.  This allows us to provide resources, make connections and introductions, but most importantly, be a one-stop resource for our communities and ensure that individuals and families who turn to Chicano Federation for assistance are, in fact, getting the support they need.
