From 2013-2016, Eric played goal for Binghamton University and served as captain in his senior season. Although he featured sparingly as a backup in college, the netminder’s heroics on the international stage have been crucial for Israel.

In the 2016 European Championships, Eric played seven games in goal, making 44 saves for a 69 percent save percentage, the second-best of all goalies in the tournament, paving the way for the team’s run to the gold-medal match.

Eric’s versatility was useful in the 2017 European Box Championships where he helped as an attacker, putting up 10 points on six goals and four assists en route to Israel’s victory. He also played in the field in the 2016 and 2017 iterations of the Israel Premier Lacrosse League (IPLL) for Haifa and Be’er Sheva, respectively. In 2016, he totaled nine points on seven goals and two assists. One year later, he more than doubled his production, posting 22 points on 14 goals and eight assists. He most recently represented Israel in the 2018 World Championships.

"What I love about playing for Israel goes beyond lacrosse. When you represent a whole country on your chest you're representing everything about that country, from what it's been through to where it is now. When I put on that Israel jersey, not only do I feel the support and encouragement from the rest of the country, but I feel a huge sense of pride and resilience.

After spending two and a half years in Israel coaching and growing the sport of lacrosse, my connection to the country has never been stronger. The people and history of Israel make this beautiful country what it is today, and I am lucky to call it my home."
