The Friends of the Greenfield Public Library's mission is to provide financial support to the Greenfield Public Library’s development and enhancement of its library programs and services.
Donations to the Friends of the Greenfield Public Library Annual Appeal support our mission and enable us to fund programming offered by the Greenfield Public Library, including:
- Pop-up Library visits at Greenfield Farmers’ Market (summer and winter!) and Oak Courts
- A virtual speaker series running three times a month that features bestselling authors
- “Take and Make” kits
- Story Walks (Poetry, Winter Carnival, Social Issues, and Kids)
- Informational sessions and storytimes under the tent on the library’s front lawn, in nicer weather
- Monthly Spice Club – spice samples and recipe
- Book Discussion groups as well as the popular Summer Reading Programs for Adults, Teens, and Children
- A Zoom subscription for all of the Greenfield Public Library’s virtual programming
- Additionally, your contribution enables us to continue to support the Greenfield Public Library’s ongoing programs, offered to the community free of charge, including:
- Museum passes
- The annual Poet’s Seat Poetry Contest
- Summer reading programs for all ages
- Homebound delivery program
- Literary Teas
- Book Club in a Box
- And more...
