HORSE HEROES NEEDED!

In the first few months of 2017, Idaho Horse Rescue was able to save 27 horses destined for slaughter in the Grandview case in Owyhee County,  Idaho. You can read the news article about the case from KTVB here.

Our goal is to find these horses a forever home within one year. And we are happy to report that half of these horses have been successfully adopted!

There are still 12 of these horses waiting for their forever family. This  #GivingTuesday, you can be their #HorseHero by donating to their care.

Here is how your donation will impact these horses:

  • $10 = one round of de-wormer treatment for one horse
  • $25 = one bag of supplemental feed
  • $50 = hoof trimming for one horse (done every 6-8 weeks)
  • $150 = one ton of hay
  • $500-$1,000 = one month of training for one horse

Your donation will provide these gentle souls with the care they needs while waiting for their forever home.

Every donation makes a critical difference for these horses, no matter how big or how small.

You can also help in a BIG way in lieu of donation by simply sharing this page  for them. Sharing their story is just as important as donating! With your help, we can find these sweet equines the loving homes they are so deserving of.

Be a Horse Hero this Giving Tuesday and hit DONATE

Thank you all for your enduring support!
