Gordon Blitz Build - Memorial Fundraiser

Our Story

 With the recent passing of a dear friend and benefactor, Walter J. Gordon, Hart County Habitat for Humanity has initiated a project to memorialize the life, work, and generous spirit of Mr. Gordon. As a Hartwell attorney, Walter Gordon provided all legal work to our affiliate pro-bono. So, to thank his commitment to our nonprofit, we have started the "Gordon Memorial Blitz Build", a project aimed at building two houses for two local families in our community before the end of 2023. While the land has been donated, we still are in need of additional funding to help supply the necessary materials and skilled labor for these two homes. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated, and will help fund homes for these two families!
