We believe that everyone deserves a home, a job, and a supportive community. For 15 years, Caridad, Inc. has been providing just that through our unique, compassionate model at the Hebron apartment complex in downtown Las Vegas.

Right now, we need your urgent help. Due to payment delays from our partnering agencies, we have fallen behind on our operating rent for Hebron. We are fundraising to cover these essential costs and ensure our vital programs can continue uninterrupted for the residents who rely on them every day.

Our Mission

Caridad, Inc., a nonprofit in good standing in Las Vegas, is dedicated to ending homelessness by offering comprehensive job reintegration, stable housing, and a restorative community environment. Our goal is to heal past traumas and restore dignity, health, and independence to our clients.

The Hebron Model: More Than Just a Roof

Hebron is our 124-unit apartment complex located in the heart of the Arts District downtown. It's not just affordable housing; it's a thriving, diverse community made up of formerly homeless individuals, seniors, veterans, and local workers.

We have an incredible 90% success rate, even with those considered "hardest to house." The secret to our success is the integrated programming and the beauty of our community:

Integrated Job Training Programs

We empower residents with skills and income through tailored employment programs:

• Caridad Gardens: A jobs program that hires disabled veterans to grow fresh produce, which is sold to local bar and restaurant partners.
• The dTalley: Hires more able-bodied individuals for an hourly wage to perform cleanup and maintenance for contracted businesses.
• Art Reach: Allows severely disabled individuals to create original artwork, which is then sold for profit.

A Community of Wellness & Support

Hebron offers holistic health programming and fosters strong social bonds:

• Health & Wellness: We provide Trauma Recovery Yoga, HeartMath meditation, free blood pressure screenings, and weekly walks.
• Partnerships: Our partner, the VA, brings a mobile medical unit on-site monthly to service all veterans. Our community partner Three Square supplies food for our on-site pantry.
• Community Engagement: Tenant volunteers co-host monthly events like movie nights, craft nights, birthday parties, and karaoke, building chosen families and strong social networks.

A Proven Impact on Las Vegas

Our work extends beyond our walls. By partnering with neighbors and Las Vegas Metro Police, we've helped make the surrounding neighborhood healthier and have successfully lowered crime rates in every category.

We celebrate our 15th anniversary this year on October 25, 2025. Our vision for the future is to expand our reach, taking on other properties or training other communities to replicate our compassionate, effective model.
