Home Shouldn't Be a Scary Place!

October is Domestic Violence Awareness month!  Want to know something really scary? 1 in 4 women and 1 in 7 men will be abused in their lifetime.

For 41 years, Grace Smith House has been a vital organization in Dutchess County with a mission to help all individuals and families live free from domestic violence. We operate a 24-hour crisis hotline; provide emergency shelter, housing assistance, counseling and advocacy and other resources that victims may need when fleeing violence.
