Hello to all my kaibigan and pamilya! Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
My name is Kim, and I am thrilled to celebrate the power of education with you. This Spring, I'm raising funds for the Mission Promise Neighborhood (MPN) Scholarship Fund for graduating seniors at John O'Connell High School located in San Francisco's Mission District.
This May, I'll be turning 25 and asking y'all for just one birthday wish: In lieu of birthday gifts (or dranks), I'm asking for 20 of you angels to step up and donate $25 for my 25th birthday. All funds will be pooled and awarded as scholarships to four-year, college-bound students who have demonstrated financial need, community involvement, and academic achievement.
I firmly believe in the potential that quality and inclusive higher education holds, especially for first-generation students like myself. I have seen from my own experience and my mother's, an immigrant from the Philippines, how powerful education can take someone, and I feel so, so privileged to be advocating for greater educational equity and opportunities.
Thank you again for visiting my page! Forever sending lots of love and light to you.
