Solomon’s 2025 School Fundraiser

This is Solomon’s second year attending the St. Augustine Public Montessori School, and what a year it has been! From the moment he stepped into his multi-grade classroom, he’s been welcomed, challenged, and encouraged to grow—not just academically, but as a kind, curious, and capable human being.

At this school, learning doesn’t just happen at a desk—it happens through hands-on exploration, collaboration with classmates of different ages, and the gentle guidance of teachers who truly see each child as an individual. In this mixed-age environment, Solomon has had the opportunity to learn from older peers, and now, he proudly models leadership and kindness for younger ones. That sense of responsibility, community, and belonging is hard to put into words—but it shines through in everything he does.

One of the most exciting milestones this year was Solomon getting the highest rating possible on the Florida state math assessment! More than just a number, this achievement reflects the deep understanding he’s gained through the Montessori approach: one that emphasizes mastery over memorization, and encourages children to think critically and independently.

Solomon has not only grown academically—he’s also become more confident, thoughtful, and engaged in the world around him. He comes home full of questions, ideas, and stories from his day. He’s excited about learning, and he sees himself as a capable, contributing part of his classroom and community. That’s the magic of Montessori.
