Anti-Hunger initiative: Feed a Student

"It takes a village to raise a child." Yes, it does, and we at Hope 4 Tebassie (H4T) take this widely used proverb to heart. We believe children are the future, and we all are responsible for ensuring their basic needs are met.

Our Anti-Hunger initiative provides basic needs support to vulnerable children, and donations from the Give 8/28 will provide meals and keep children in school in Tebassie, a small town in Debre Brehan, Ethiopia. The town's highly poverty-stricken residences are in dire need of various basic aid to survive. 

Our organization, H4T, has stepped up and committed to providing two meals daily to school children to meet their basic needs. We implemented the Pilot program in January 2022 in the Elementary school and currently providing meals to twenty-five students from 1st through 8th grade. However, many children are on the waitlist due to the lack of funds. We aim to increase this number with your support until all children are fed.
