We’re with Eiyreana. Music can change the world. Especially in the hands of passionate young people.
Since LiveConnections began in 2008, we’ve reached nearly 40,000 participants with free music education. We’ve helped kids across the city create songs, play in percussion ensembles and write passionately about their visions for change. That’s the power of music. When you put music in the hands of kids like Eiyreana, it’s like taking it to the power of 10.
On May 15, LiveConnections turns 10. We want to raise $50,000 in 10 days.
10 years. 10 days. The POWER OF 10.
That means thousands more kids being inspired as music connects them to diverse cultures, history, language arts, technology. It means teens from Afghanistan and Syria writing original songs in our newest after-school residency. It means Eiyreana and her classmates showing us we can expect great things from Philly kids.
POWER OF 10 = power of music + power of kids + power of you.
