Join me for the LHS House Pawty!

Something incredible has happened in animal shelters across the United States during these unprecedented times.  Thousands of once homeless animals found their way from shelters to couches in a matter of days amid the country's Covid-19 pandemic.  Families across America opened their homes to foster and adopt shelter dogs and cats clearing many shelters out!

At LHS we have placed over 200 pets into temporary foster homes!!! We have also had over 80 adoptions from foster. And we still have hundreds of applications pending a match! We are so thankful for the support of our community through this trying time. This is something that should be celebrated!  Many of you may be new to fostering or adopting and we can’t thank you enough for standing hand in hand with us to save lives! 

To further support LHS, we are also looking for fundraising partners. As a "team member", you will be raising lifesaving dollars for your the Lynchburg Humane Society.  I have joined with the goal of raising $250 dollars for the pets of LHS. I'll be sharing some of my favorite foster stories along the way. 

Our work saving animals does not stop. Our staff is working round the clock behind closed doors and from home to continue this life-saving work. These dollars will go directly to the Lynchburg Humane Society's Center for Pets and will provide them VITAL financial help during this crisis.
