Hey y’all, please HELP! I need as many different people as possible to donate just $10 (or more) to the Sundance Association for Country-Western Dancing, a 501c3 nonprofit organization that brings country-western dance lessons and events to the LGBTQ+ community and its friends. We’re also a philanthropic organization which, in the past 25 years, has raised over $450,000 for queer causes, HIV/AIDS nonprofits, and breast cancer organizations (e.g., Larkin Youth Services, LGBT Asylum Project, National Center for Lesbian Rights, Openhouse, PRC, Breast Cancer Emergency Fund, Rainbow World Fund, and Transgender Law Center, among many others).

Sundance is in a competition for the greatest number of unique donors to contribute between May 1 and May 30 through the Horizons Foundation Give OUT Day portal. Your $10 gift will help Sundance vie for up to $10,000 in additional grant funding, which is desperately needed as Sundance continues to recover from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Please note:

• The minimum donation required is $10.
• Donations must be made by 9 pm PDT (before midnight EST) this Thursday, May 30.
• Each donation should be from different people with different names and email addresses.

The Sundance Association is best known for its twice-weekly Sundance Saloon event, bringing country-western dancing to the LGBTQ+ community. Sundance Saloon is more than just a place to dance. It is a rare place of unfettered joy, where everyone feels welcome and comfortable, and it's the foundation of a strong, generous, and mutually supportive community. I am so proud to be a part of that community.
