Springhouse is NOT closed. While our lovely, new facility is not in use by our learning community right now, Springhouse continues to thrive and grow. We are reimagining, at an even deeper level, what it looks like to connect and learn together in the midst of a global pandemic.

Springhouse has always provided opportunities for young people and adults to cultivate the light in themselves to shine it more fully in a world that needs it. This is so important, always, but it is especially important in challenging times like these. What is often seen as “soft skills” or secondary to learning, Springhouse has put at the center of our curriculum from the very beginning–things like relationship, self awareness, creativity, and resiliency. These things matter, they always have. 

Because of our core values, a dedicated team, and our collective embrace of the unknown, we are choosing to face the current crisis with deep love and ingenuity. At this time, we need to reckon with the reality of multiple program offerings being postponed. These postponed programs result in a loss of relational support for youth and adults, as well as the income these programs bring in for our continued operation.

Every little bit counts, especially during these times where simply staying home can prevent the mass spread of the Coronavirus. We know that small, consistent giving goes a long way, too. We’ve launched a Spring monthly giving campaign and are asking for regular support to keep us going. Our goal is to raise $4,000 in monthly support.

Your consistent gift relieves the stress of monthly expenses while our staff work hard to deliver a remote program that supports not only regional teens, but now teens from around the country. Your gift also supports the launch of a new adult program offered online to support people through this crisis, as well as help mitigate the challenges Springhouse families face with paying tuition. 

Springhouse has been committed to supporting teens and their families regionally, and beyond. With social distancing, teens are lacking interaction with their peers and the in-person support they receive from their community. Families are feeling the strain of having an adolescent at home for greater periods of time, while also dealing with the economic fallout of this situation.
