SURVIVAL KITS FOR THE HOMELESS

When I was raising my family, I ran into two of the most frightening conditions a single, young Mother of three can encounter. I had no place to live and I had no family or friends who cared about that. I was scared to death. I screamed in agony at the thought of my children sleeping on the streets. In my desperation, I asked a male "so-called" friend to give us a moment on his floor and sofa, only to be offered the condition of sexual favors. I ran! I then humbled myself and turned to public services and asked for emergency help. They sent me to a "so-called" motel with a voucher that had a rodent/rat for a room-mate. My children and I slept in the car. I forced that time to its end immediately but, soooo many families can't do the same. Some families can't stop the momentum of that slippery slope. 

…This is where Feed My Sheep Outreach arrives on the scene. We are going to offer to these residents what I would have given my all for; A real survival kit. We are raising $30,000 to equip 10 homeless families(with children) with all the equipment they need to rise up from their debilitating conditions. Without such equipping, they most often can't find the means to rise, resulting in the many I have interviewed who have lived over 20 years in ragged tents and cardboards. Help us help in "Real-Time", while they are where they are at, let them cook their own meals, let them use the toilet, let them take a shower; we are all human beings for God's Sake. Help Us Help Them...
