WHO WE ARE!
We are helping hands and advocates, committed to giving at-risk women an equal chance at life. With a spirit of collaboration and commitment to mental health, education, business guidance and job training, we are trusted to care for women to help them on their journey of empowerment. Ready to Empower works to create a world where all women are empowered.
WHAT WE DO!
We equip women with the necessary tools to empower themselves and reach their full potential. Through the NGO - Arbol de Esperanza (Tree of Hope) created by RTE in San Ramon, Costa Rica, we partner with this women-focused organization by providing resources and guidance through our holistic social service program, the Empowerment Program. Our goal is to elevate women and their communities through mental health, job readiness, education, case management and leadership support.
WHY INVEST?
Your donation is key to keeping our programs going. Your investment into RTE’s programs will give at-risk women the tools needed to better their lives. Every dollar donated will provide women access to mental health support, crisis support, life skills and job training. Your donation helps women heal from trauma, find safety, become educated and self-sufficient.
MEET SAYDA!
Sayda is a model of determination! Throughout her life, Sayda has worked hard to help support herself and her family. However, Sayda felt alone in her journey and felt lost at times trying to take care of others while struggling with her on health concerns. Sayda was struggling with health issues and needed support and resources to help her manage her mental health and her overall physical health. When she joined RTE's Empowerment Program she was able to improve her mental health by going regularly to therapy and getting nutritional support from a nutritionist. Little by little Sayda became more and more empowered and began to feel healthier and overall happier in life. In this process, she created wonderful friends and unconditional support from women in the program which helped to improve her confidence while decreasing her feelings of loneliness. In her own words, "I know now how to help myself, and I am so grateful for the support RTE has provided to me because I am now motivated in life and don't want to give up"
