Lauren's Fundraiser for OutNebraska

Happy Pride Month!!

I'm Lauren (she/her), the Development & Operations Manager for OutNebraska. I've lived in Nebraska my whole life - I grew up in Kearney and moved to Lincoln in 2015. I'm fundraising for OutNebraska because I know how important it is that there are strong LGBTQIA2S+ advocates in our state. We’ve had some wins over the last year, but there’s still so much work that needs to be done everywhere from the State Capitol to our schools; from Eastern Nebraska to the panhandle.

But we aren't all work and no play - OutNebraska is also working hard to create a safe community for all, statewide. From Pride to the Prairie Pride Film Fest and virtual gatherings, OutNebraska has ways for everyone to get involved and build community. The work that OutNebraska and its supporters like you do is so important, so I’ll hope you'll show your Pride with me and consider a donation!

Your support is important, because you can help OutNebraska win a $2,500, $5,000, or even $10,000 prize. We can win one of these prizes by having the largest number of unique supporters, not just the highest dollar amount, to honor the importance of all gifts to our movement. The more unique donors there are supporting OutNebraska, the better chance we have at a prize - all of which will go back to supporting our community in Nebraska.
