John Calvin said that the true knowledge of God and of man lead to the same place. We are made to reflect the character and beauty of our Creator. While the truth of man in God’s image is essential to every age, ours is a generation that desperately needs to hear it. Many of our neighbors and fellow citizens live in despair and confusion. Christians need to be equipped to talk about the beautiful biblical pattern of what it means to be human and to discover the source of true dignity, unity, and purpose for every man, woman, or child.
Thanks to member support like yours, the Philadelphia Conference on Reformed Theology continues, celebrating its forty-ninth year with Made in God’s Image. The gifted speakers presented the Bible’s clear teaching on man’s nature and calling, the vital matter of human sexuality, and the purpose and identity provided to us by our Maker.
Sound doctrine, boldly preached around the world by the grace of God and your prayerful support.
The Church will only grow stronger as we know the Word of God and proclaim it to our contemporaries. The Philadelphia Conference on Reformed Theology has a great legacy. Its purpose is to awaken interest in biblical theology, establish a forum at which men and women can be encouraged in the Reformed faith, and to produce resources to strengthen the Church. |
