Project S.M.A.R.T explores the creative art process while engaging the community, cultural and creative arts centers and other non profits in studio collaborations with local artist and educators. An essential component of Project S.M.A.R.T ( Studios Making Art & Reproduction Textiles) is to engage the cultural and creative arts community in a common platform to explore the creative art process and develop enriched perspectives of contemporary and traditional art experiences leading to a better understanding of the cultural and creative fabric of the world.

The project will provide an enrichment and practical application on how to make art and reproduce a textile in a studio setting. The activity demonstration and workshop event will take place in a virtual open studio live stream. In addition to engaging participants, our target audience will also have the opportunity to volunteer and learn more about the project at our virtual volunteer sessions,  virtual open studios, our in-person visual art display and temporary art installation at our Museum Partner and their studio.

Each participant and our audience, will take home a new perspective on the creative process, develop a unique insight about the five stages of the creative process and learn how to implement and create collaboratories with local studios while building a creative connection to the engaging community, cultural arts and creative centers.
