Windy's Slumber Pawty Fundraiser for Sarge's 🐾

Sarge's Animal Rescue Foundation is an organization that is very near and dear to my heart. I started with Sarge's as a volunteer and foster back in 2012, and have since been employed by Sarge's and now serve on its Board of Directors. All of this hard work has been a labor of love ❤️ 

 I believe in Sarge's mission to alleviate homelessness in Haywood County's companion animals, and to improve the lives of the animals and their gaurdians. Sarge's does this through not only providing shelter for homeless animals until they can find homes, but also by providing medical and behavioral help for those animals, maintaining them physically and mentally, and promoting them for adoption and foster homes, but also by supporting animals who are in homes, by helping their gaurdians have access to dog and cat food, medical care, behavioral help, flea and tick medication, and basic grooming, as well as maintenance tools such as cat litter, collars, leashes, harnesses, baby gates, dog houses, straw, etc. Sarge's also works hard to raise awareness of homeless animals, sheltering, and the care of animals in homes.

Donations to Sarge's go to important aspects of this mission, such as emergency medical care, giving our animals top notch care by maintaining their mental and physical needs, supporting our amazing staff in their life saving work through a living wage and educational opportunities, providing behavioral help to adopters and gaurdians, maintaining our facility, promoting our animals, providing support for volunteers and fosters, and community outreach. All of this takes funding. Lots of it.

Your donation will help us grow our mission, as this year we plan to expand access to low cost spay and neuter, host microchip and vaccine clinics, increase our pet pantry, expand access to low cost flea and tick medication, and replace our dog and cat kennels with something new and up-to-date. Again, all of this takes funding. Lots of it.
