Hi, my name is Ramon Galloway, and I’m honored to serve on the board of an organization that is very close to my heart: the Darkness RISING Project.
Darkness RISING provides free mental health care to Black and formerly incarcerated communities—people who too often face barriers to accessing the care and support they deserve.
This year, grants that once helped fund this work dried up almost overnight. But the need didn’t disappear. Our programs are at risk, but we’re adapting, not stopping—and I’m asking for your help.
My goal is to raise $1,000 by September 15th. Every dollar makes a difference, helping provide free therapy for justice-involved people of color and covering the essential costs that allow Darkness RISING to continue showing up for our community.
