A nonprofit fundraiser supporting

NAMI Treasure Valley

Fighting stigma and raising awareness for the need for support for individuals living with mental illness and their families.

$1,490

raised by 10 people

$3,500 goal

According to the Mayo Clinic and Johns Hopkins, between 20% and 25% of adults in the US experience a serious mental illness every year.  In the Treasure Valley alone, over 135,000 people and their families are directly affected.

As part of their mission to be the Treasure Valley's leading voice on mental illness, NAMI Boise provides programs,  support groups, public presentations, and other outreach for individuals living with mental illness and their families. relying on dondations to underwrite the cost of these services.  They offer all of these programs and services at no cost, relying on donations for funding.

My personal goal is to raise $3,500 to help support NAMI Boise's work, and I need your help.  Please donate if you can, and join us on October 15th, if you can.

We're going to meet at 9:00 at Pavilion #1 in Julia Davis Park on October 15th to march to the Capital.

You can learn more about NAMI Boise at www.namiboise.org.
