Thank you for learning more about and supporting people affected by domestic violence!
Hi! My name is Sage Gilibert and this is my first year on the Jewish Teen Foundation (JTF) Board. My experience thus far in JTF has taught me how to come to a consensus, conduct interviews and research, and build connections. The work I am doing inspires me to learn more about underprivileged populations. There will always be people around us who have less. It is our responsibility, as fellow humans, to offer help.
This year, the Jewish Teen Foundation is committed to supporting people affected by domestic violence through organizations/initiatives that provide direct services and preventative measures to ensure all people will be physically, emotionally, and financially safe.
People affected by domestic violence need our help because:
→ an averaged 24 people per minute are victims of domestic violence
→ about 15% of women and 4% of men in the US have been injured as a result of partner violence
→ 40% of child abuse victims also admitted to experiencing domestic violence

The COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated the issue of domestic violence. Victims and survivors need our help more than ever.
I am beyond grateful for your support in ensuring all people affected by domestic violence will be safe. Your donations will go directly to organizations that we have researched and vetted and that support those affected by domestic violence. Please donate by April 15th, 2021.
Thank you again and please email me if you have any questions!
