Jewish Community Federation and Endowment Fund

We know that Bay Area Jews want to make a difference in the world, and by working together we not only increase our impact, we also build a vibrant, caring and enduring Jewish community.  How we do this is by focusing our work around three important and unique roles:

• Strategic Investing: fundraising and making grants to solve community’s biggest challenges
• Building Capacity: helping build high-performing organizations through our pro bono consulting, specialized consulting and trainings, and communities of practice.
• Engaging Leaders & Philanthropists: ensuring our community’s future.

This year we have so far made nearly 250 grants totaling over $18.4MM to 121 organizations working to make Jewish life as vibrant as it is accessible; strengthen Jewish education and identity; advance social justice, equal opportunity, and pluralism in Israel; and take care of Jews in need here in the Bay Area and around the world.
