Peace in Our Backyard

I recently joined the Board of the Anne Arundel Conflict Resolution Center. The mission of the Center is to bring peace to the community through individual and Group mediation. The Center regularly brings together groups who have had a long history of disagreement and strife, and enables them work together to reach mutual understanding and agreement - literally Peace in Our Backyard.

Given the restrictions of COVID-19, the Center has had to get creative about providing mediation services. Online services are working well, but we are impacted in our ability to provide some in-person activities that help to boost our annual income.  As well, we have had to cancel our in-person annual fundraiser. Our crowdfunding campaign is an effort to help ensure the Center is able to continue providing these vital services.
