Spencer Farish - Sophomore

I found rowing at HMC a month and a half before the start of my first year of high school and instantly fell in love. I wasn’t sure what sport I’d play before, but after those three weeks I knew I wanted to row. I rowed in the first novice boat that fall in four seat before moving to stroke seat. Throughout that first season, I saw the support, camaraderie, and commitment of this team and knew I wanted to become a part of it for the next four years. Continuing into the spring, I raced in the 2V in four seat, and then spent my summer coaching and fostering a love for the sport I had found less than a year prior.
