Raising money to build an Animal Sanctuary

To this day, there are not many laws protecting animals from inhumane and barbaric treatment in Sri Lanka..and animals are suffering DAILY because of it. It isn't uncommon to see dogs wandering around the streets with open wounds after being tossed out like trash. 

Baw Baw Animal welfare is working tirelessly  to create a better world for them. We manage spay neuter programs all around the country and rescue injured animals on a daily basis. So far we have rescued , sterilized and found homes to over 25000 dogs and cats. 

As you all know organizations like Baw Baw completely depends on the generosity of people like you and me. 

Our goal is to build a shelter for permanently disabled dogs in Sri Lanka along with an animal hospital to rescue and save as many animals as we can. 

We have have started the first step of the construction.  And will continue to update on the progress.  Your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate $5 or $500. Every little bit helps!

Update:

We finished building the first phase of the sanctuary. We have built caretakers room, couple of holding facilities and hydrotherapy tank. Updated pics below! 

Second phase is to build a small animal clinic for the disable residents and for the community dogs in the area. Please help us.
