We are nearing the end of 2023 and find ourselves facing a record deficit. Please donate if you can

$5,000 goal

Animal rescues across the country have experienced a very challenging 2023.  With adoptions and donations decreasing and operating and labor cost increasing, many find themselves facing a very discouraging deficit as the year end approaches.  The struggles are even greater being located in southern states and rural communities where sadly there just isn’t enough enforcement of animal welfare and neglect.  If we can continue to operate, our focus next year will be to build a strong team to work together toward change in regards to animal welfare legislation and enforcement in the state of Arkansas.  But currently we’re facing a sad reality that our facility is running out of money and face the real possibility of closure as early as 6 months from now.  Bringing the situation to the public is our priority right now.  While we continue to search for grants and other resources, we are making this story our #GivingTuesday event.  One of our local news stations recently visited us after hearing of our increasing crisis situation.

Our goal is to raise $20,000 by the end of the year to help us recover from a record year end deficit.  Any donation is greatly appreciated.  Nothing is too small and sharing our story will increase our chances of meeting our goal.  We ARE the abandoned animals voices and we need to be heard.  Thank you!
