The S Foundation's Music for Medicine.

In addition to the DJ Academy, we have expanded to a younger audience to include elementary. Music brings out the best in our students like magic. The technical skills coupled with Heavy Social emotional learning embedded in the curriculum, gives way to  progressing emotionally while producing  musically. Students produced, wrote and performed their own song as the capstone project for beginners music production! While hiding Math in the music theory as we fraction whole notes. students were learning while receiving hidden academic supports. In addition song writing after a particularly stressful day can be quite therapeutic for our students but also music to our ears as the demonstrate healthy lines of communication.
