$1,000 goal

We were inspired to get involved with the Junior Board after hearing from other volunteers from GiGi's Playhouse. Young people with Down Syndrome have challenges that the rest of us can only imagine. COVID-19 prevented GiGi's from holding its main fundraising events this year, resulting in a 40 percent decrease in overall fundraising revenue.  This lack of funding and COVID precautionary measures caused the Atlanta Midtown location to close its doors, leaving families that rely on their in-person programs to switch to at-home virtual programming. This format is difficult for kids with disabilities and many children have fallen behind in learning critical skills like crawling, walking and talking. While GiGi's pivoted quickly to virtual programming and limited in-person therapies (with COVID precautions), we have more work to do....and, we are not giving up!

The Junior Board of GiGi's Playhouse Atlanta is ready to help the Atlanta Playhouse bounce back!  Every dollar raised will help to accelerate programming and outreach initiatives to ensure that participants across Georgia can continue to have access to education, essential therapies and socialization.

Please support these life-changing efforts for families in Metro Atlanta and Greater Georgia by donating today! Our ultimate goal is to raise enough funds to reopen the Atlanta location when the time is right, but know that all funds raised will go towards serving our Playhouse families and helping those who utilize our services reach their “Best of All” in a way that makes sense during these unprecedented times. Please consider donating today so that our Playhouse can continue to impact as many families as possible!
