DACC needs funds for an X-ray machine to help out many dogs like sweet Bliss, who was hit by a car.

$3,000 goal

Detroit Animal Care and Control is one of the largest intake shelters in Michigan. Many of the dogs, cats, and the occasional farm animals that come into the shelter have injuries that must be treated in house. Over the past couple years, Detroit Animal Care and Control has advanced the in house veterinary care animals receive, but an x-ray machine would be a huge advance and greatly contribute to the extent of the medical care animals can receive in the shelter. An X-ray machine would allow our amazing vet, Dr. Bigwood, to see if dogs that were hit by cars have broken bones, how many puppies a mama dog is carrying, to see if an animal has any blockages, and many more. Please consider donating to this fundraiser. Thank you!
