We Must Breathe - CRS Giving Tuesday Campaign

Please join me in supporting Community Renewal Society this Giving Tuesday! 

Giving Tuesday, happening this year on December 1, is a global day of generosity unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world. This Giving Tuesday, Community Renewal Society will offer short written or spoken devotions based on our theme "We Must Breathe".  Activists and community members will share a prophetic proclamation affirming everyone's self-worth and to present a righteous charge in the face of violence against Black and Brown bodies and lives. I invite you to read their We Must Breathe devotions and donate to their Giving Tuesday campaign. 

Community Renewal Society (CRS) aims to combat social, economic, and racial injustice by bringing people of faith and congregations together, in partnership with communities, coalitions, interfaith organizations, and civic leaders, to intentionally and decisively transform society toward greater social justice at the intersection of racism and poverty. Their organizing and policy staff build relationships, identify new volunteer leaders, and engage congregations and community members in local, citywide and statewide campaigns for justice. They are committed to holding elected officials accountable by building a team of community organizers from across the lines of race, ethnicity, class and age group to demand social change.
