Hi,
Some of you know I've been riding in the Livable Streets Tour de Streets fundraiser since it began 15 years ago. Originally called Bike for Life, it's a memorial to FUUSN member Bob Zeeb who died bicycling on an unsafe street. His family created the fundraiser to help Livable Streets lobby for safer streets. They, and I, continue to ride to support this worthy cause.
The many new bike lanes you see are due, in part, to the work of Livable Streets.
The Tour Your Streets Campaign is going on now. Because of the pandemic, this year we are riding individually, choosing our own day and route.
