Every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive. Brighton Center is San Antonio's largest nonprofit supporting nearly 5,000 children with disabilities and developmental delays in our community through pediatric therapy, early childhood education, and special education support services.
Why I'm Supporting Brighton Center for Big Give
I recently sat in on a video shoot with four of our therapy providers. During each session, we asked them the same question: what would you tell the parents of the child you've worked with? Every answer came back to the same two words — "Thank you." Thank you for letting them be part of the journey. Thank you for letting them see their work in action. Thank you for the chance to help a child take her first steps toward success.
Providing therapy is their job, their livelihood, their calling — and yet they are the ones who feel grateful, simply for the chance to help a child learn to eat, to play with toys, to walk.
I can't imagine a more meaningful role than serving as Brighton Center's VP of Marketing, and this fundraiser is my way of turning that gratitude into something tangible.
