The Inner City Development’s Emergency Food Pantry program serves thousands of meals annually to families in crisis. These families are located in the neighborhoods of the economically poorest precincts of Bexar County.
This will be the 12th year I have supported this cause. It is an amazing public program to help those in need stay on their feet in the moment of crisis. Families in crisis are limited to two (2) visits a year to prevent dependency on the program.
Thanksgiving 365 is an annual fundraising effort that funds the Emergency Food Pantry project for an entire year. It serves about 85 families in crisis each month who need food. It helps them for a few days to bridge the gap through the crisis. They are limited to two visits per year, preventing dependency on the program.
