The Inner City Development’s Emergency Food Pantry program serves thousands of meals annually to families in crisis. These families are located in the neighborhoods of the economically poorest precincts of Bexar County.
Thanksgiving 365 is an annual fundraising effort that funds the Emergency Food Pantry project for an entire year. It serves families in crisis each month who need food. It helps them for a few days to bridge the gap through the crisis. They are limited to two visits per year, preventing dependency on the program.
