Thank you for taking time to visit my page! I am a friend of Mel the Missionary and Bread of Life and will be assisting in leading the 2026 Bread of Life Sponsors' Trip. This summer will be my 4th time to Turkana, Kenya and 3rd time working specifically with the gift distribution to the kids. We will be leaving 7/30/26 and returning 8/10/26.
I have personally been blessed with the opportunity to meet my sponsored kids. It is hard to describe the emotions: joy, overwhelmed with love, and a desire to pray more for them. Sarah, one of my sponsored kids, and I have been able to have short conversations the past 2 summers as she continues to learn more English. These past trips with Bread of Life have challenged me to grow in faith regarding the Lord's plan for "my time.”
