A transformative initiative designed to enhance women's economic independence and drive their success in the workforce. The program primarily focuses on assisting individuals directly impacted by the war, particularly single mothers from Hero families and those who have become disabled due to ethnic-based attacks, resulting in severe poverty and suffering. Its goal is to equip these women with the skills and resources they need to generate their own income.
The first phase was carried out in partnership with the Yotor Farmers' Association. This small-scale agricultural initiative has created employment opportunities and enabled individuals to become proprietors, contributing to economic independence and empowerment.

Wonfel is currently collaborating with the United Amhara Charity and Development Association to create a meaningful initiative that supports women interested in starting their own small convenience stores. These stores will not only offer essential everyday items but also feature a diverse selection of locally sourced spices and freshly made injera, a staple flatbread in Ethiopian cuisine.
