As a regular volunteer at KET’s annual free family event, Be My Neighbor Day, I’ve seen firsthand the positive impact KET’s educational programming—especially Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood—has on children. I’ve witnessed the heartfelt gratitude of parents, particularly those raising children with learning differences, as they watch their kids light up with joy meeting Daniel Tiger in person—someone they know and love from PBS KIDS.
