Band Factory is a program of Lehigh Valley Girls Rock, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering cisgender girls, women, trans and nonbinary folks, through music and art.
Band Factory is also a fundraiser. Think of it like a 5K, but cooler (and much louder)! So why are we raising money?
Get LOUD Camp, a weeklong summer program for cisgender girls and trans and nonbinary youth ages 10–17. In just five days, campers form a band, learn an instrument, write an original song together, and play a live show.
They also take part in workshops on self-care, social justice, and community building, all in a positive, nurturing environment that encourages kids to be loud, take up space, and be fully themselves.
Making Get LOUD Camp happen takes a lot: camp and venue space, student scholarships, staff costs and volunteer stipends, supplies, instruments, and more.
