Seeds of Faith: Feeding Families & Growing Futures

At Grandma’s House, we believe one simple truth:

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” – 2 Corinthians 5:7

Right now, families across North Mississippi are walking by faith every single day — stretching meals, trying to keep food on the table, and praying their children have nourishment in a world where prices rise faster than their paychecks.

In our region, 1 in every 6 children faces food insecurity.

Parents are working full-time and still struggling to access fresh, healthy food.

Some families go to bed unsure if they will have enough for tomorrow.

Yet even in the middle of these challenges, something beautiful is happening.

Little hands are digging into the soil.

Parents are learning new skills to feed their families.

Hope is growing — one seed at a time.

This is the heart behind Seeds of Faith: Feeding Families & Growing Futures.

We are teaching families how to grow food, cook healthy meals, and create gardens that can be passed down from generation to generation. Children are learning the joy of planting something with love and watching it grow — just like our Heavenly Father does with us.

But we cannot do this alone.

“And let us not grow weary in well-doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” – Galatians 6:9

On this Giving Tuesday, we’re asking our village to come together — not out of obligation, but out of compassion. Out of love. Out of the desire to be the answered prayer for a mother, a father, a grandparent, or a child who needs support.
