Liz Martin for Comfort House CAC

Child physical and sexual abuse are not something most adults want to think about, let alone talk about. 

Unfortunately, we know that it is happening and many children who are abused don't understand or know that they are being abused. Comfort House bridges that gap by teaching children about what physical and sexual abuse are AND provides a safe space for children to tell their story in their words. 

I am passionate about the work that Comfort House does, because as an employee, I have witnessed first hand the impact this organizaation has on those affected by child abuse.  I have listened to their experiences and have chosen to advocate for those affected by trauma and abuse suffered at the hands of others. Today I ask you to do the same. Be the good, and please support me in my goal of raising $500 dollars to this necessary non-profit. 

It is not an easy topic to talk about, but Comfort House gives children the opportunity and COMFORT to do just that.
