Transforming fear into resilience, uncertainty into hope, and isolation into belonging.

$2,000 goal

Friends and colleagues,

I am proud to serve as a Board Member at Georgia Asylum & Immigration Network. This year marks GAIN’s 20th anniversary, a milestone we celebrate with pride, but also with the recognition that this has been our most difficult year yet. New state and federal policies are reshaping the landscape for immigrant survivors and asylum seekers, making it harder than ever for families to achieve safety, stability, and justice.

I have set a personal goal of raising $2,000 for GAIN before the end of 2025 and I would love your help.

As a Board Member and pro bono volunteer attorney representing an asylum seeker, I have seen firsthand the impact that GAIN has on immigrants seeking asylum here because they literally fear for their lives if they return to their home countries.  From providing expert pro bono legal representation to establishing a culturally sensitive food pantry in Clarkston to collecting donated toys so immigrant children receive presents during the holidays, GAIN empowers immigrants with a sense of belonging and resilience as they navigate their way through our nation's complicated immigration system.

Your donation, no matter the size, will help GAIN provide emergency relief, legal representation, and pathways to stability for families who have nowhere else to turn. Your generosity is deeply appreciated by all of us at GAIN!

With gratitude,

Jeremy
