Project Enduring Peace — For All Children. For All Time. No More War!

War is avoidable. It rests on the false belief that war is inevitable—and beliefs can be changed. History across many societies and cultures shows that enduring peace can be secured when societies craft structures and actively promote behavior that makes violence unnecessary and foster cooperative solutions. In a time of rising global conflicts that many experts consider uniquely dangerous—even existential—we believe the world urgently needs a new vision and a new path to escape the trap of war.

Project Enduring Peace (PEP) is a women-energized, grassroots initiative calling for a modern, binding international treaty that ends war as a tool of national policy. Through education, we show that peaceful alternatives already exist, and our organizing efforts seek to unite a critical mass of citizens determined to pressure world leaders to put us on a new, peace-centered path.

Our vision is global. Consequently, all information and activities are found on the internet to make them as widely accessible as possible.

Achieving Our Goal

We are raising funds to:

•    Educate the public about global peace systems—how they work and why they succeed. We provide an inspiring 17 min. video “Ending War is Possible. Here’s Why and How.”  To watch, see the link on our website, www.projectep.org.

•    Expand a global petition campaign for presentation to the United Nations General Assembly to urge them to write and secure a new and enforceable peace treaty.

The petition is both an educational effort and a demonstration of worldwide support for a structural alternative to war.
