We are raising money for personal Hotspots , laptops and iPads for the Fair Oaks and Downtown Library.
On any given day you can find adults and teens in the library’s parking lot after closing hours on their laptops and tablets so they can complete their homework, finish job applications and connect with family members using the library’s Wi-Fi. We hope to let those adults and teens check out personal Wi-Fi (Hotspot) and take the devices home.
Personal Hotspots are small devices that offer an easy and convenient connection to the wireless data for people without internet access at home.
Our goal is to provide equal access to technology and the tools everyone needs to connect to not only our community, but to the world.
